The effects of Tamspar on the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) are unpredictable. Therefore, you should not drive or operate dangerous machinery or participate in any hazardous activity that requires full mental alertness while you are taking Tamspar. Although Tamspar does not intensify the effects of alcohol, it is best to avoid alcohol while taking Tamspar.
If Tamspar is taken with certain other drugs, the effects of either can be increased, decreased, or altered. It is especially important to check with your doctor before combining Tamspar with the following:

The effects of Tamspar during pregnancy have not been adequately studied. If you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant, inform your doctor immediately. It is not known whether Tamspar appears in breast milk. If Tamspar is essential to your health, your doctor may advise you to discontinue breastfeeding until your treatment is finished.
